Hot-Cold Contrast water immersion therapy

Posted by:  Kevin G. Parker, D.C.

HOT AND COLD TREATMENT

Either get two buckets or get one bucket and fill up a sink with ice cubes and water……. and another sink/bucket with hot water. (as hot as you can take it)

3 minutes of hot water immersion

1 minute cold water immersion

Do this for 20 minutes back and fourth between the hot and cold water for 5 rotations ending on the cold.

…Of course this is for extremities that would fit into such tubs or buckets.
